Many websites still show old country lists, old transit rules, or information that is no longer correct. Old or incorrect information can cause problems when you travel.
Go China Visa Free was created to make things simpler. We explain:

How we check our information
We check visa and entry information using official Chinese government sources, including China's National Immigration Administration. When a rule changes, we update our guides. We also link to official sources so you can check the information yourself. When the answer is not clear, we say so. We don't guess or make up facts.

Who is behind Go China Visa Free
Go China Visa Free was created by an American team that has lived in China for the past five years. Between us, we have traveled all over the country, from the top destinations everyone comes to see to small, niche places most visitors never hear about. Some of us have been to more than forty cities in China.
We also have different passions, and that is a big part of what makes our advice useful. One of us lives for food, coffee, cocktails, restaurants, and the kind of niche experiences you only find when you really know a place. Another has a real passion for places to stay and has tried just about every kind China has, from yurts in Xinjiang and mountain resorts to tiny five-room hotels hidden in a bamboo forest, big chain hotels, and homestays. So we can point you to the right hotel, or the coffee shop that actually suits your taste.
We have visited many provinces across China and built up a large base of first-hand knowledge. Most of the advice in our articles comes from two places: the official rules, and our own personal experience on the ground.
